Mike Tyson is in excellent condition following a health scare during a flight.

Version 1: His representatives stated that the ex-heavyweight champion, aged 57, encountered a bout of "ulcer flare up" half an hour prior to touchdown, resulting in feelings of nausea and dizziness.

Representatives of former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson confirmed that he experienced a medical emergency during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Sunday. Fortunately, the 57-year-old boxer is currently in stable condition.

"We are pleased to report that Mr. Tyson is recovering well. He felt nauseous and dizzy as a result of an ulcer flare-up just 30 minutes before the plane was due to land. He is grateful for the prompt assistance provided by the medical team," the representatives stated.

According to InTouch, paramedics were called to assist Tyson during the flight due to the medical emergency.

Tyson's representatives clarified that his medical condition did not contribute to the plane's previous delays. They stated, "The flight delay, lasting two hours, was solely caused by air conditioning problems on the aircraft."

Tyson is currently getting ready for a July bout against Jake Paul, a vlogger-turned-boxer who rose to fame on YouTube and started boxing in 2018. The match will be broadcast on Netflix on July 20.
